Alessandro Ponti received his MSc in Chemistry and PhD in Chemical Sciences from the University of Milan. After a post-doc stay at the ETH in Zurich, he joined the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche where he now is Director of Research at the SCITEC Institute in Milan. His research interest mainly focuses on magnetic nanoparticles and computational chemistry, spanning from fundamental issues to applications in catalysis and nanotechnology. He is a member of AIMagn and of the Editorial Board of Molecules.
