David I. Wilson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Auckland University of Technology (Auckland, New Zealand). He received a BE (Chem and Mats) Hons 1 from the University of Auckland in 1984 and a Ph.D. from the University of Queensland in 1990. He is the Guest Editor of the Special Issue "Vision-Based Sensors and Algorithms for Food Processing" in MDPI. His research interests mainly include industrial food processing; optimization; simulation and modelling; and process control and simulation.
