Dr Yasuyuki Yamaoka is the Senior Researcher for the Vice Chancellor’s Office of the Open University of Japan. He has been involved in various projects such as the creation of learning curricula using historical and archived cultural assets, in particular, ICT implementation to improve the effectiveness of learning. He holds a PhD in engineering from Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan. He is a certified assessor of quality management in Japan.
