Taehong Kim received a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Ajou University, Suwon, South Korea, in 2005, an M.S. degree in Information and Communication Engineering, and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Daejeon, South Korea, in 2007 and 2012, respectively. He worked as a Research Staff Member with the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT) and Samsung DMC R&D Center from 2012 to 2014. He also worked as a Senior Researcher with the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), Daejeon, from 2014 to 2016. Since 2016, he has been an Associate Professor at the School of Information and Communication Engineering, Chungbuk National University, Cheongju, South Korea. His research interests include edge computing, SDN/NFV, the Internet of Things, and wireless sensor networks. Dr. Kim has been an Associate Editor of IEEE ACCESS since 2020.
