Daniel Tornero is an Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona and head of the Laboratory of Neural Stem Cells and Brain Damage that belongs to the Institute of Neurosciences, IDIBAPS and CIBERNED. He graduated from the Miguel Hernández University of Elche with a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry in 1999 and obtained his PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Castilla-La Mancha in 2007. He has more than 25 years of experience in the field, and his scientific projects have focused on the development of advanced therapies that promote functional brain repair, resulting in high-profile publications in international scientific journals.
