Dr. Goi is a professor at the Faculty of Management at NUCB Business School. He received his doctorate in media and governance from Keio University and master of business administration from Waseda University in Japan. His research and teaching fields include design thinking, entrepreneurship and sustainability development. Dr Goi has rich experience in management research on student-based venture creation in Japan and the ASEAN region. His publication “Dynamic capability for the success of student-based gestation ventures” won the Best Journal Paper Award at the 12th Association for Policy Informatics Conference held in Japan in 2016. Before his involvement in academic research, he was significantly involved in the private, government, and nonprofit sectors in Singapore for more than 10 years, serving as a manager in several community development councils.
