Lourdes Martínez-Villaseñor (full professor) is a computer systems engineer and a doctor in computational sciences at the Tecnológico de Monterrey. She is a research professor in the area of artificial intelligence at Universidad Panamericana and head of the computing area at the Faculty of Engineering. She has the distinction of level 1 of the National System of Researchers of Conacyt. Her main research interests are artificial intelligence applied to human activity recognition and user modeling and ethics for artificial intelligence. She has published 5 books and more than 50 papers in reputed journals and conference proceedings on artificial intelligence topics.
