Dr. Claus  Rasmussen is a tenure-track Assistant Professor of the Department of Agroecology at Aarhus University. He completed his PhD studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on the systematics of stingless bees. His research interest is to explain what determines and sustains biological diversity by studying bees and other insects. He is particularly interested in documenting and relating species, distribution and ecology with their interactions, evolutionary history, functional traits and conservation planning in an agricultural context.
