Sinang Hongsanan is currently a lecturer at the College of Life Sciences and Oceanography, Shenzhen University. She studied Plant pathology at Chiang Mai University from 2007 to 2011 and then received her Ph.D. in Bioscience from the School of Science, Mae Fah Luang University. She served as a researcher at the Center of Excellence in Fungal Research, Mae Fah Luang University from 2016 to 2018, and then studied as a postdoctor at the College of Life Sciences and Oceanography, Shenzhen University from 2018 to 2022. She worked as a researcher at the Research Center of Microbial Diversity and Sustainable Utilization, Faculty of Sciences, Chiang Mai University from 2022 to October 2023. Her research interests include fungi, Taxonomy, and ascomycetes.
