Biography
Maya Rima obtained a PhD in microbiology (Dec. 2021) from Paul Sabatier University -Toulouse III - France. Her thesis project, conducted at Laboratoire de Génie Chimique - UMR 5503, focused on the exploration of natural products for pharmaceutical applications, particulary as novel antibiofilm agents against pathogenic bacteria. Currently, as a postdoctoral fellow, she is working on antimicrobial nanocomposites surfaces and their potential antiadhesive effect under dynamic condition.
