Prof. Dr. Melek Tasoker is a Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at the Faculty of Dentistry, Necmettin Erbakan University, Türkiye. Her academic and research interests focus on dentomaxillofacial imaging, artificial intelligence, deep learning, radiomics, medical image analysis, and computer-aided diagnosis. Her research encompasses the application of advanced imaging techniques and artificial intelligence-based approaches to the diagnosis and quantitative assessment of oral and maxillofacial diseases. She has published numerous scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals, including Scientific Reports, Clinical Oral Invesitgations, DMFR, and Oral Radiology. She serves as an Editorial Board Member of BMC Oral Health and acts as a reviewer for several international scientific journals. She also contributes to scientific research evaluation as a reviewer for TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye). Her research aims to integrate emerging technologies into dental radiology, improve diagnostic accuracy, and advance evidence-based clinical practice.
