Prof. Dr. Elena González Peñas is a Full Professor (Analytical Chemistry) in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy and Nutrition, Universidad de Navarra, Spain. She is also the Coordinator of the Doctoral Program "Medicines and Health" within this faculty. She received her Ph.D. degree from Universidad de Navarra in 1990. Specializing in chromatography techniques, she focuses on the development and validation of analytical and bioanalytical methods. Since 1996, her research has been centered on the development, validation, and application of chromatographic techniques for determining mycotoxins in food and biological fluids. She has extensive experience in developing research contracts with pharmaceutical, chemical, and food companies, as well as in supervising doctoral theses. In addition, she is a member of the Spanish Society of Chromatography and Related Techniques (SECyTA).
