Prof. Dr. Ren-Kae Shiue has been a professor at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, National Taiwan University, since 2006. Professor Shiue received his Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from MIT in 1996. His expertise lies in materials science and engineering, especially welding, brazing, and joining metallic materials. Prof. Dr. Ren-Kae Shiue was the recipient of the Ta-You Wu Memorial Award from the Taiwan Ministry of Science and Technology in 2004.
