Dr. Ahmed Abdelhalim is an Associate Professor of Environmental Geology at the Geology Department of Cairo University, Egypt. He received his Master's Degree in structural geology from Cairo University and his Ph.D. in spatial analysis and resilience of mega cities from Muenster University, Germany. His research topics mainly include Environmental Science, Geoinformatics (GIS), Geology and applied geology, Earth science data and information systems and Spatial planning.
