Ståle Navrud (Dr. Scient) is a professor of environmental and resource economics at the School of Economics and Business at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). He has extensive experience in cost–benefit analysis (CBA) and economic valuation of ecosystem services, biodiversity, and cultural heritage using revealed and stated preference methods. He has published about 100 scientific papers and book chapters, as well as three edited books on pricing the European environment, valuing cultural heritage, and environmental value transfer.
