Biography

Mutescu Parteme-Marian was born in 1997. He received the B.Sc. degree in Applied Electronics and the M.Sc. degree in Computer Networks and Communications from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Ștefan cel Mare University of Suceava, Romania, in 2019 and 2021, respectively. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Department of Computers, Electronics, and Automation at the same university. His doctoral research focuses on radio spectrum sensing techniques for high-density, large-scale Internet of Things (IoT) networks using Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based models, with extensions toward 5G, Beyond 5G (B5G), and Open Radio Access Network (Open RAN) architectures. His current research interests also include drone detection and classification using passive radio-frequency (RF) sensing, radar-based sensing, the design of custom waveforms for Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) systems, and digital signal processing implementations on FPGA and RFSoC platforms. He has authored and co-authored more than 20 scientific publications in international journals and conference proceedings.
