Gordana Stojanović completed her Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Niš, Serbia (1997). She is full professor since 2007. at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Sciences and Mathematics, University of Niš and a head of the Cathedra of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, since 2012. Her research field is chemistry and biological activity of secondary metabolites of plants, lichens and mushrooms. According to Scopus database, 202 published papers were cited 3330 times and h-index was 30 (self-citations are excluded, accesion date 07/04/2025). Professor Gordana Stojanović is on the prestigious Stanford list of the 2% most influential scientists in the world for 2023.
