Daniel Araki Ribeiro is a full professor at the Department of Biosciences at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), Baixada Santista Campus (2006–present). He is responsible for the discipline of General Pathology for the undergraduate courses in Physical Education, Physiotherapy and Nutrition, Psychology and Occupational Therapy at UNIFESP. He is currently the Head of the Department of Biosciences at UNIFESP (2020–2023). He coordinated the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Program in Health Sciences for two consecutive terms. His scientific output includes 406 publications, corresponding to 5740 citations (h-index 37) (Scopus, 10 October 2023).
