I have worked as a molecular biologist in different research areas for almost 30 years.
I am originally from Poland, where I gained my Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (molecular biology) from the University of Gdansk.
I moved to New Zealand in 2005 and worked at Lincoln University on a project aiming to develop DNA vaccines against toxoplasmosis in sheep.
Since 2012 I am a part of the Biocontrol and Biosecurity group at AgResearch, New Zealand. My research focuses on insect diagnostics, novel tools for identifying pests, and insects' biochemistry.
