Dr. Andrea Brandolini is a Senior Researcher at the Council for Agricultural Research and Economics. He completed his PhD studies at the School of Plant Sciences, University of Reading. He carries out breeding, genetic and phylogenetic studies on A-genome wheats, using both traditional and innovative techniques; he is also studying the technological and nutritional quality of different wheat species, in particular of einkorn, and of other crops. He has 96 publications with 3766 citations and an h-index of 34 (Scopus, 18 October 2023).
