Ioannis Roumeliotis received an M.Eng. degree in mechanical engineering, an M.Sc. degree in automation systems, and a Ph.D. degree in turbomachinery from the National Technical University of Athens, Athens, Greece. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in gas turbine propulsion and thermal systems integration with the Centre for Propulsion, Cranfield University, Cranfield, U.K., developing capabilities for the hybrid electric era of aviation and leading the simulation of thermal management systems. His interests include hybrid electric propulsion system performance assessment and operation and thermal management system simulation.
