As a neurologist and neurophysiologist, I now work at the Department of Health Sciences in Milan (with Professor A. Priori). My research is mainly focused on brain stimulation techniques, both invasive and non-invasive (tDCS and rTMS), brain plasticity (especially, visual system plasticity), and movement disorders (particularly, adaptive deep brain stimulation in Parkinson's disease). I am the author of 69 articles indexed on Scopus/Medline (H-index=19), 14 book chapters, and over 80 conference papers. Over the last five years, I have received 10 awards for my research, both at Italian and international congresses. My current projects are about neuromodulation of pain and brain stimulation in movement disorders.
