Dr. Wendy J. Maury is a professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA, USA. She obtained her PhD in Biology from the University of Virginia. She then completed a Postdoctoral Fellow in Molecular Microbiology at the National Institutes of Health-NIAID, Bethesda, MD, USA, and another Postdoctoral Fellow in Virology at the National Institutes of Health-NIAID, Rocky Mountain Laboratories, Hamilton, MT, USA. Dr. Maury’s research interests include antiviral therapies, enveloped virus entry and glycoprotein interactions, virus–host interactions, and innate immune responses to enveloped virus infections.
