Li Demao, Ph.D., Prof. at the Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Leader of the Industrial Biosystem Engineering Research Group. Winner of a special research post at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has been successful in winning the titles in the Tianjin High Technology Talents, Tianjin Binhai New Area "131" Innovative Talents Training Project, and Second Level Talents, among others. Over the years, he has been engaged in scientific research related to fermentation engineering and has undertaken more than 20 projects such as national key scientific and technological cooperation projects, key research and development plan sub-projects, Chinese Academy of Sciences Class A pilot special projects, key deployment, and the Tianjin Synthetic Biology Improvement Action Plan. He won second place as part of the Marine Engineering Science and Technology Award and second place as part of the Marine Science and Technology Award. He has published more than 100 academic papers in domestic and foreign academic journals, including 66 SCI indexes. He has published one piece of academic work and has authorized fifteen patents.
