MARIA DOLORES GADEA RIVAS (Lola Gadea) has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Zaragoza (Spain). She also has three degrees, one in Economics and Business, one in Mathematics, and one in Statistics. She is currently working in the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zaragoza as a full professor of Applied Economics. She completed her education and research specialization at the Carlos III University, Warwick University, Harvard Economic Faculty, and Boston University.

She has a very broad research trajectory which covers different fields, such as Time Series Econometrics, Applied Econometrics, Applied Macroeconomics, Business Cycle, International Economy and Exchange Rate, Public Economy, the Spanish Economy, and Climate Change. She has numerous publications in international journals such as cómo Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Monetary Economics, Journal of Applied Econometrics, Journal of the European Economic Association, International Economic Review, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Public Choice, and Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization among others, and she is also the author of several books and chapters of books. To this research activity, we must add her work in an editorial capacity in numerous journals and as an evaluator in various quality agencies.
