Prof. Dr. Mamoru Takeda earned a B.S. from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Azabu University in 1984, an M.S. from the Division of Veterinary Medicine at Azabu University in 1986, and a Ph.D. from the Division of Medicine at Gunma University in 1990. He is currently a Professor in the School of Life and Environmental Science, Department of Food and Life Science, at Azabu University. In 2007, he received the 7th Lion Award for Dental Basic Medicine. His research interests include Life Sciences, Neurophysiology and Neuroscience of Pain.
