Chung Wung Bark received a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering in 2007 and a B.A. degree in Physics in 2001 from the Pohang University of Science and Technology. He undertook a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Wisconsin–Madison for four years (2008–2012). He is now a professor in Electrical Engineering at Gachon University. In 2015, he was named a Young Researcher due to his excellent research. He has studied low dimensional oxide materials, including ferroelectrics, and their applications, such as solar cells, sensors, and memory. At present, he is interested in the synthesis of various oxide compounds, high-efficiency perovskite solar cells, and epitaxial growth using a sputtering method. He has published over 100 papers and his published papers have been cited over 3000 times
