The main objective of this study is to apply structural equation modeling with partial least squares, and based on covariance, to assess the satisfaction of residential electricity consumers. The methodology used compares the results of both structural equation models to indicate the model that best fits the problem of measuring the satisfaction of residential consumers with electricity concessionaires and licensees. The sample used in the survey contained questionnaire responses from 86,175 individuals considering the period from 2014 to 2018. The constructs evaluated were satisfaction, quality, value, loyalty, and trust. A confidence interval analysis shows that all weights are significant, demonstrating the importance of all the indicators that represent the constructs. The trust, quality, and value constructs can explain 74.4% of the satisfaction construct variability, so this relationship’s explanatory capacity is considered substantial. Finally, the evaluation of the performance of the service provided by the electric energy concessionaires/licensees, measured by customer satisfaction, allows for the continuous improvement of services, and meeting, even if minimally, the expectations of its consumers.

Objective: This study proposes the implementation of energy efficiency measures in the building of the Faculty of Science and Technology, as part of an extension project at the Federal University of Goiás. Theoretical Framework: The recommendations of the National Electricity Conservation Program (PROCEL) from the Energy Research Company (EPE) were the main guidelines used for the actions proposed in this study. Method: The current energy consumption was assessed through direct measurement, along with the projected energy demand and the analysis of electricity bills from December 2023 and August 2024. Additionally, the main issues related to the improper use of electricity were observed and discussed. Results and Discussion: Based on a review of the literature and, primarily, the recommendations of PROCEL-EPP, a banner was developed to compile the suggestions observed and discussed with project members, along with other visual elements. Thus, even in its initial stage, the actions proposed in this study show promise in contributing to the improvement of energy efficiency at FCT and, consequently, to sustainable development. Research Implications: The results of this research highlight the potential for reducing energy consumption through the implementation of energy efficiency measures in public buildings. Originality/Value: The present study demonstrates that it is possible to change people's habits and mitigate the problems of high energy consumption through the creation of campaigns promoting energy efficiency.

Small businesses are of great importance to society. In most countries, they make up the majority of businesses. In Brazil, for example, small businesses account for about 98.5% of all businesses and are responsible for about 70% of formal private sector jobs in the country. However, small businesses have a high mortality rate. Given the socioeconomic importance of small businesses and the problems faced by organizations of this size, it is important to understand the types of strategies used by these organizations and the different impacts they have on business performance. Therefore, a strategic leadership model is necessary for the study and analysis of small businesses. In the literature, there are few authors that deal with this topic. In this sense, this work aimed to contribute by presenting a systematic mapping that takes into account the specificities of small businesses. As a basis for the mapping, case studies were conducted with five technology-based companies in Brazil.
