Fábio C. S. Nogueira (Proteomics Unit, Institute of Chemistry, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil) has a BSc in Biology at Universidade Estadual do Ceará (2004), master's in Biochemistry at Universidade Federal do Ceará (2007) and doctorate in Biochemistry at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and Protein Research Group, University of Southern Denmark (2012). Post-doctorate and visiting research at the Department of Biochemistry, Institute of Chemistry, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. He is currently professor at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. He founded and is member of Brazilian Proteomics Society. He implemented the LC-MS methods to analyses peptides and proteins in the Brazilian Laboratory of Doping Control, and participate of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Rio2016. Has experience in Biochemistry, mass spectrometry, quantitative proteomics, post-translational protein modifications, liquid chromatography, 1- and 2-D electrophoresis.
