Professor Radu Burlica is currently a "Gheorghe Asachi" at the Technical University of Iasi, Romania Iasi,  Department of Electrical Engineering. Professor Burlica has been working in the field of electrical discharge non-thermal plasma applications and NTP reactor design for 20 years. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles, 120 scientific papers with over 500 ISI citations, and has written 6 books. His work has been supported by 16 research projects financed by CNCSIS, UEFISCDI,  CNRS—France, GREMI—Bourges, National Science Foundation USA, Florida State University USA, and others.
