Prof. Dr. Anikó Borbás is a Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Debrecen, Debrecen, Hungary. She completed her Ph.D. in chemistry at the Lajos Kossuth University, Debrecen, in 1997. Her research interests include carbohydrate chemistry, oligosaccharides synthesis, photocatalytic hydrothiolation of unsaturated sugars, chemical modifications of nucleosides, and glycopeptide antibiotics.
