Currently one of his areas of research interest is on Heat shock protein (HSP90β) as a novel therapeutic target in skin cancer. -Another dimension is in utilizing DNA Fingerprinting based approach to diagnose Candida species from immunocompromised patients of Saudi Arabia. -Interested to elucidate azole resistant mechanism in Candida albicans recovered from Saudi immunocompromised patients.
