Professor Dr Rukman Awang Hamat MBBS (Malaya), MPath (Microbiol) He is a Professor of Medical Microbiology and a Consultant Clinical Microbiologist. His research interests mainly focus on antimicrobial resistance, surveys on the knowledge, attitudes and practices (KAP) on infectious diseases and opportunistic protozoa. He is actively involved in the Malaysia One Health University Network (MyOHUN) and Malaysian Society of Infectious Diseases and Chemotherapy (MSIDC).
