Turgut Türsoy is a Professor of Banking and Finance at the Department of Banking and Finance, Near East University, Nicosia, North Cyprus. He has a BSc from Istanbul University, Turkey (1998), an MBA from Cyprus International University, North Cyprus (2001), and a PhD in Banking from the Institute of Banking and Insurance, Marmara University, Turkey (2005). Currently, he has been teaching at Near East University for the last twelve years, and also serving as the Vice Chair Person at the Department of Banking and Finance. His research focuses on the banking and finance area, where he has published over 20 articles in different journals, including Economic Research-Ekonomska Istraživanja, International Journal of Financial Studies, etc.
