Carlos Alberto Nogueira de Almeida, MD, PhD. Professor of Medicine at the Federal University of São Carlos. Graduation in 1990 at the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo. Master's and Doctorate at the same institution. Prof. Carlos has experience in Pediatrics and Pediatric Nutrition, working primarily with obesity, iron deficiency anemia, micronutrient deficiencies and epidemiology. Director of the Brazilian Association of Nutrology and Coordinator of the LASPGHAN Obesity Working Group.
