Sirichai Adisakwattana is a current staff member at the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University. He is currently the Chair of the Master’s and Doctoral program in Food and Nutrition (International Program, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University). He serves as a board and advisory member of the Nutrition Association of Thailand under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. He has been recognized for his work on bioactive phytochemical compounds with the Young Research Award, Ratchadaphiseksomphot Endowment Fund, Chulalongkorn University (2010); Ajinomoto Young Researcher Award (2015); Chula Research Scholar (2016); and Thailand and Outstanding RGJ Alumni Awards 2018, Thailand Research Fund (TRF). He is head of the Phytochemical and Functional Food Research Unit for Clinical Nutrition at Chulalongkorn University. His research interests are bioactive phytochemical compounds from edible plants, fruits, and vegetables for the prevention of diabetes and its complications.
