Currently, President of the Italian Nutraceutical Society (SINut), Scientific chairman of the Italian Society of Nutrition Sport and Well-Being (SINSeb), president of the regional sections of the Italian Cardiovascular Disease Prevention (SIPREC) and Italian Hypertension Society (SIIA). Author of more than 600 full papers (Scopus H-index >60) published in international peer-reviewed medical journals, mainly in the fields of cardiovascular disease prevention (epidemiology, prognosis, management) and nutraceutical research.
