Dr. Vijay Jagdish Upadhye is presently working as Deputy Director at Central of Research for Development (CR4D) and as an Associate Professor, Department of Microbiology, Parul Institute of Applied Sciences (PIAS), Parul University, Vadodara, Gujarat (July 2018 to till date). After receiving post-doctoral research training from TB Research Unit, Department of Respiratory Medicine, National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College, London (UK), he served as Post-Doctoral Research Scientist at PD Hinduja Hospital and National Medical Research Centre (2010-2014) on cutting-edge technologies for the early diagnosis of tuberculosis. His area of research includes Immunodiagnostics for Tuberculosis, Hepatitis, Brucellosis and Infectious Diseases (more than 12 years). He has successfully contributed >60 publications (Research-gate Score: 14.98; h-index = 7; i-10 index = 5; Google Scholar Citations = 148) on Tuberculosis, Infectious Diseases, Agriculture and other microbiological aspects. He has >9 chapters & 5 Book contributions, 33 IPR (IPR = 33; Patents = 26 (Published = 17), Design Registrations = 7) to his credit. He handled Scientific Projects Handled = 5; Awards to his credit = > 14; Guest Talks delivered by him = > 20 and he is an organizing Secretary for Scientific events almost => 10.
