Dr. Carlos Alberto Martínez Pérez. ORCID 0000-0002-1136-6812. Dr. Martínez is a Full Research Professor at the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez and a Level 3 National Researcher dedicated to innovation and technology transfer in biomedical engineering. He holds a doctorate in Materials Science from the Advanced Materials Research Center (2001) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Organometallic Chemistry at the University of Texas at El Paso (2003). Throughout his career, he has led numerous basic and applied science research projects, resulting in many publications in high-impact journals. A leader at his institution, Dr. Martínez co-founded the master's and doctoral programs in Materials Science at UACJ and established the Academic Group for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine. He has a proven track record, managing national and international projects as a principal investigator. His current research focuses on developing biomaterials for drug delivery and biomedical applications through additive manufacturing.
