Chengming Liu was born in YiYuan, Shandong Province, P.R.C. in 1979. He received the B.Sc. degree in Applied Mathematics from the Shandong Normal University in 1998 and the Ph.D. degree in Computational Mathematics from Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China, in 2007. From 2008 to 2011, he was a Research Assistant with the Institute of Computer Application, Sun Yatsen University. Since 2011, he has been with the school of software, Zhengzhou University. Since 2015, he has been an associate professor. His research interests include geometric modeling, computer vision, and machine learning.
