Professor in the Department of Veterinary Science, Rural Economics section, at University of Pisa from 1995. She collaborated with public, private and third sector stakeholders in the construction of social innovation paths, using a research-action approach. High level of knowledge in transition management, social innovation, and sustainability. Currently, research activities are mainly oriented toward multifunctional agriculture, social farming and rural development.
