Anuradha Godavarty, Ph.D., is an associate professor and undergraduate program director in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at FIU. She directs the Optical Imaging Laboratory. Her research interests are in developing hand-held and mobile NIR devices for wound care, cancer prognosis, and functional brain mapping. She is the co-inventor of the smartphone-based optical device technology described in the current work.
