Hong-Jian Zhu heads the Cancer Signalling Research Laboratory in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, The University of Melbourne. He has been awarded the Boerhaave Medal/Chair Visiting Professorship with Leiden University Medical Centre in the Netherlands in 2017. He is the founder and director of Huagene Institute.
