Dr. Essam is an associate professor at King Abdul-Aziz University , Faculty of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Department. Research interests include materials characterization, metal matrix composites and surface modification, microstructure refinement using modifiers elements, and solid-state technology (Friction Stir Process), as well as the dynamic behavior of composite materials.
