Prof. Dr. Jingwen Zhou received a B.Sc. degree in Engineering from Huazhong Agricultural University in 2003, an M.Sc. degree in Science from Huazhong Agricultural University in 2006, and a Ph.D. degree in Engineering from Jiangnan University in 2009. He is a Professor and a Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Bioengineering, Jiangnan University. He is mainly engaged in research related to microbial metabolic engineering and synthetic biology to enhance microbial synthesis of natural plant products. He currently serves as the deputy director of the Youth Work Committee of the Chinese Society of Bioengineering and the deputy director of the first Youth Work Committee of the Jiangsu Agricultural Engineering Society.
