Dr Brigid Betz-Stablein is an early-career research fellow with the Dermatology Research Centre located within the University of Queensland Diamantina Institute. Dr Betz-Stablein is a biostatistician with a strengths in working with interdisciplinary groups. Currently, her research involves the application of statistical and machine-learning methods to dermatology images with the goal of improving the early detection of skin cancer. Dr Betz-Stablein is a member of the International Skin Imaging Artificial Intelligence working group and the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology Artificial Intelligence task force.
