Richard Mu is an associate director of TIGER Institute-Advanced Materials. He received a B.S. degree in Physics from Northeast Norman University, China. He received an M.S. degree in Physics from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale (SIU-C). He received a Ph.D. degree in Molecular Science and Condensed Matter Physics from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale (SIU-C). His research interests include Nano- and meso-structures, Nanostructure fabrication, processing, design, and functionalization, and the Development of characterization techniques for nanomaterials, sensors, and devices.
