Luca Ferretti is a researcher at CREA (Research Centre for Plant Protection and Certification; Rome, Italy) as plant virologist and phytoplasmologist. He has more than 15 years of experience in the study and diagnosis of phytoplasmas and viruses of agronomically important crops. In the field of diagnosis, he is actively involved in the validation of protocols for the detection of viruses and phytoplasmas. In 2017, he joined the accredited laboratory ‘DIALAB’, operating within the centre as the Quality Manager.
