Dr. Louthrenoo is Professor at the Division of Rheumatology, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University. His main interests are crystal associated arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and systemic sclerosis. He has published over 80 book chapters and 130 peer-reviewed journal articles. He receives frequent invitations to speak at national and international rheumatology events. In addition to be a member of several national and international professional associations, he serves on the editorial board of several journals. Dr. Louthrenoo has received many academic and teaching awards from Chiang Mai University, The Royal College of Physician of Thailand, and the Thai Medical Council.
