Dr. Swarnalatha Moparthi is a research associate at the Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology, NC State University. She received her B.Sc. in Botany, Genetics, and Chemistry from Acharya Nagarjuna University in 2002 and her Bachelor of Education in Biology from St. Joseph’s College of Education in 2006. She obtained her M.S. in Biology from Youngstown State University (YSU) in 2011 and completed her Ph.D. in Plant Pathology at Washington State University (WSU) in 2016. Her research keywords include powdery mildew, fungal pathogens, and pathogen detection.
